Semble uses cookies or other tracers that may be installed on your hardware (computer, tablet or smartphone) when you visit our website www.semble.io.

Our cookie policy explains how and why Semble uses these technologies and guides you through the choices you have regarding cookies and your privacy.

1. What are cookies, web beacons and similar technologies?

Cookies or similar technologies (hereinafter “cookies”) are small non-executable text files or other technologies such as flash cookies, HTML 5 cookies, and other web application software methodswhich is deposited and read, for example, when a website is consulted, an e-mail is read, or software or a mobile application is installed or used, regardless of the type of terminal used (computer, smartphone, e-reader, video game console connected to the Internet, etc.).

Web beacons are small graphic images such as “pixel tags” which are included on the website, services and messaging tools in order to identify users and their behaviour.

2. How do we use cookies?

When you visit our website www.semble.io (hereinafter “Site”) cookies may be deposited on your terminal by Semble or by our partners.

There are 4 types of cookies:
1. Strictly necessary cookies:

ensure that our Site functions properly, and include cookies that help you log in, provide core services and features included online communication service at the express request of the Visitor (chatbot) as well as keep our Site secure; these cookies do not require your consent.

2. Functional cookies:

help us to enhance our Site's performance and functionalities.

3. Audience measurement and marketing cookies:

measure the audience of our Site and analyse the behaviour of visitors to improve the way the website works, to improve visitor’s experience and to propose relevant content to their interests.

4. Social media targeting cookies:

collect data about a visitor's online behaviour and preferences, enabling targeted advertising across different sites.

Furthermore, Semble uses web beacons, also called “tracking pixels”, in the email communications we send you to get information about the opening rate of our emails or about the audience of our contents because you consulted the content sent or you clicked on certain content.

 

3. What are the cookies deposited on our Site?

__cfruid This cookie is a part of the services provided by Cloudflare - Including load-balancing, deliverance of website content and serving DNS connection for website operators. Expires at the end of the session
__cf_bm, _cfuvid This cookie is used to distinguish between humans and bots. This is beneficial for the website, in order to make valid reports on the use of their website. _cfvuid expires at the end of the session;
cf_bm expires in 30 minutes

Intercom

(when using our chatbot only)

Intercom-id-[app_id] Cookie for anonymous identification of visitors. Cookie deposited when visiting the site. 9 months
intercom-session-[app-id] This cookie is set to activate the conversational agent when the user visits the operator's site, and is refreshed each time the connection is successful, extending it for a week from that point. Thus, the user can access and retain conversations with the conversational agent until the session is intentionally terminated, which usually occurs at logout 1 week

3.3. Audience measurement and marketing

You are informed of the existence and installation of cookies via the information banner displayed on the homepage on the Semble’s Site.

If you click on the "Decline" button, only strictly necessary cookies will be installed on your hardware as they allow the good functioning of our Site. By clicking on "Accept", you give your consent to cookies or other trackers being set on your terminal equipment for the above-mentioned purposes. This may entail the processing of personal data by Semble and its partners.
