According to the World Health Organisation, one in 10 patients is harmed during healthcare, and much of it is preventable. Fragmented information, gaps between systems and disconnected records are some of the biggest - and most overlooked - drivers of that risk.

It's this combination that makes Angela’s perspective so valuable for this discussion: she can speak to what patient safety actually looks like in practice, and how that translates when digital health tools are introduced into real clinical settings.

Dr Jenny Williams
Senior Product Manager and former gp
Dr Jenny Williams is a former GP with over 15 years of experience in digital health. Jenny’s frontline experience gives her a first-hand understanding of how different parts of healthcare connect, and of the everyday realities and risks that any conversation about patient safety needs to be grounded in. She has since built a career translating that clinical grounding into product leadership, currently as Senior Product Manager at Semble. It's this combination of frontline clinical experience and product leadership, understanding both the patient journey and how digital tools need to be built to protect it, that makes her and excellent host for our conversation on patient safety.
